Bought this shirt in particular for kayak fishing. The Sun beats down on me so hard while out in open waters of Lake Erie that I have to cover arms and legs even if I use 100 SPF. This shirt sporting Polygiene Odor Control Technology has built in 30 SPF and has mesh polyester stitched armpits, which seemed to have worked well so far, as I've been wearing the shirt well over a two week period in very hot, humid conditions and not washed it as of yet. The shirt is made from a silver salt (silver chloride) from recycled silver.

On a rating scale of 5 stars I would give this shirt a 4 1/2, the only problem I can foresee in the future is the stretching out of the neck from taking it on and off, which is what usually happens with these types of shirts. Taking it off by pulling inside out should prolong neck life. Other than that it does what it claims to do and is very comfortable. I paid $59.95 before the taxman at our local Backpacker's Shop, which seems to be about the going price online. Hey, like it so much I might buy two! For hiking purposes.
